Responsible for the execution of sourcing support and purchasing support activities within the business in support of manufacturing/production operations. By efficiently and effectively supporting the procurement process end-to-end and providing high levels of internal customer service, this role will ensure that internal stakeholder expectations are satisfied.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases.

· Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers.

· Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

· Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.

· Ensure that the products and supplies are of a high quality.

· Ensure that purchase order requirements are submitted to the relevant suppliers.

· Communicate shipment requirements and deadlines to all parties involved.

· Check re-order reports

· Capture and update orders

· GRN all orders

· Send outstanding reports

· Send out stock arrivals.

· Timeously deal with customer queries and complaints

· Processing non-stock PO’s and GRN’s

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· Matric is essential

· Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics or related field will be advantageous

· Computer literacy MS Office package is essential

· Advanced MS Excel skills are essential

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role

· Meticulous attention to detail

· Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control

· Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data

· Database management skills

· Ability to analyse and solve problems

· Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Good interpersonal skills

· Good Customer relations skills

· Ethical Conduct

· Must be a team player

· Time management skills

· Wiling to work in a highly pressurised environment
