Job Requirements & Responsibilities

Bureau Veritas Gazelle is recruiting a Junior Data Analyst reporting to OCM Lab Manager based in Middleburg
Main purpose of the job : To provide maintenance recommendations on the sample report based on the results provided by the lab to help clients avoid machinery failure.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Analytical chemistry/Mechanical Engineering diploma/Bsc or equivalent
  • Condition Monitoring Qualification (eg. MLA1/MLA2)
  • Preferred ICML/STLE certified
  • 5 years experience in the field of OCM/Tribology/Maintenance
  • Self starter
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Be prepared to work shifts and extra hours as required
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • PC skills
  • Attention to detail

JOB SPECIFICATION

  • Provide interpretation of lab data using appropriate systems
  • To ensure data analysis is provided timeously on samples
  • Management of LIMS database as and when required
  • Assistance with Data Entry as and when required
  • Draw up customer specific reports
  • Liaise with customers on problematic samples
  • Assistance in providing customer training
