The PaISSA bundled structure in Pretoria is currently seeking a Driver/Administrative Assistant to join their team.

To be eligible for this role, we require the following from you:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or possession of a Senior Certificate NQF 4, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
  • Holding a valid Code 10 driver’s license accompanied by a Professional Driving Permit (PDP), showcasing your ability to handle transportation responsibilities effectively.
  • A strong command of the English language, enabling clear communication and seamless interaction in a professional setting.

  • Proven track record as a Driver/Administrative Assistant, with 1-3 years of hands-on experience. Your prior experience will allow you to hit the ground running and excel in this role.
  • A clean driving record without any major accidents in the past 3 years. Your commitment to safe driving practices ensures the well-being of our team and the smooth operation of our projects.

  • Ensuring the availability of vehicles without restrictions and promptly reporting any issues or concerns.

  • Basic computer literacy, specifically related to the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. This proficiency will enhance your overall effectiveness in administrative tasks.


As a Driver/Administrative Assistant, you will have an exciting range of responsibilities, including:

  • Safely and responsibly carrying out official travel using our well-maintained fleet of vehicles. Your driving skills and adherence to safety protocols will ensure a smooth and secure journey for all.
  • Taking charge of the roadworthiness of our vehicles by overseeing maintenance, servicing, cleanliness, and overall safety. Your attention to detail will help maintain the reliability and quality of our transportation resources.
  • Utilizing your knowledge of road conditions, accessible routes, and locations to efficiently transport goods and passengers. Your ability to navigate through various terrains will ensure timely and effective transportation.
  • Contributing to the smooth operation of our organization by running official errands as needed. Your reliability and resourcefulness will be key in fulfilling these tasks.
  • Assisting with administrative duties specific to the role, such as documenting motor vehicle-related transportation, driving, and fleet management matters. Your attention to detail will ensure accurate and well-maintained records.
  • Supporting the administrative team in office furniture movements and the upkeep of offices and storerooms. Your physical capabilities and organizational skills will be instrumental in maintaining a well-organized work environment.
