Qualification: Matric, Grade 12, Diploma/ Degree
Salary Estimated: ZAR 72000-340000 Annum |
Job Requirements & Responsibilities
To critically analyse and transform data into meaningful analytics for the end users.
- To Enable the user to make data driven decision that would optimise business;
- To ensure the tools used supports the deliverables;
- To ensure the integrity and quality of the data;
- To ensure compliance with PPECB policies and procedures; and
- To collaborate with the BI team to maintain the integrity of the analytical environment.
Job Requirements
- Minimum qualification of a National Diploma in Information Technology or related field
- Diploma in Business Analysis or IIBA certification
- Data Governance certificate/course
- Experience in data analysis & report development
- Experience in using BI Technologies
Experience in writing T-SQL queries
- Experience in using relational databases
- Experience in data warehousing star schema methodology
- Experience in requirement elicitation and documentation
- Experience in issue resolution
- Experience working in a team and/ collaboratively and independently
- Experience presenting analytics and insights for selective levels in the business
- Experience in data profiling
- Experience in building and maintaining relationships with all stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Data visualisation tools
- Knowledge of relational databases
- Knowledge of data Analysis, & report development
- Knowledge of BI Technologies
- Knowledge of data warehousing star schema methodology
Knowledge of testing the validity of data
Knowledge of business analysis techniques
Knowledge of relationship management
- Knowledge of data governance
- Knowledge of Data Modelling
- Knowledge of relevant statutes ie PAIA, POPIA
Technical Skills/ Functional Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Source to target mapping documentation.
