EPOL is looking for a Maintenance Clerk to be based at our Carolina site in Mpumalanga. This role will report to the Maintenance Planner. The purpose of this role is to record all activities in the Maintenance Department as well as General Administration.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Driver’s license (Code 8)
• Professional Telephone etiquette.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administration environment
• Working knowledge and advance skills in MS Office (Ms Excel adv) and Working knowledge of SAP and Pragma.
• Ability to take ownership and accountability for tasks and activities and demonstrate effective self-management in terms of planning and prioritizing and self-development.
• Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of work are consistently and accurately maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Generation of scheduled maintenance job cards, capturing and recording of engineering information and attendance records. Daily recording of downtime reports, job cards (Scheduled-from the system, Breakdowns), services recording – from job cards, overtime costing, absenteeism and sick notes, leave forms, attendance register as well as electricity and water usage.
• Create PTR’s for extra workers, obtain quotations for spares required on request, quote to workflow upload, do workflow orders and backlog/queries from overdue purchases reporting.
• Log breakdown reporting via radio, work request, and WhatsApp. Log scheduled job reporting via radio, work request, and WhatsApp. Update the asset register and filing. Assisting with general admin and service.
• Update farm data bank daily and carry out AD-HOC duties as requested by Line manager
• Contractor visitation processing and monitoring.
• Meetings: Documentation preparation of control summary report and minutes.
• Typing of Memos/Notices/Minutes/Reports.
• Scheduling of medical examinations and inductions bookings. Updating emergency order tracker and additional Br trackers.
• Daily distribution of maintenance reports to all Engineering HOD’s and daily distribution of maintenance job cards to all Engineering employees.
